Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 電機工程學研究所 === 89 === Diffusion-weighed MR imaging is a useful tool in clinical diagnosis. Recent improvements in gradient hardware technology make it feasible to perform ADC mapping with higher b value in clinical MR systems. However, the multi-exponential signal decaying behavior observed under higher b values have made some impact on the application of DWI.
This study report a preliminary investigation of an alternative explanation for the multi-exponential behavior observed on DWI with b values up to 2000 sec/mm2 and also address the cautions in its applications.
