Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 電信工程學研究所 === 89 === The transmission of multiple input/multiple output (MIMO) systems in multipath fading environment, which characterizes the effects of multipath interference and coupling among antennas, is considered. In this thesis, first, we propose a new frequency domain approach to estimate MIMO slow fading channel. By employing orthogonal signal process, which acts as a signal signature on the training sequence sent by each transmitter antenna, we can resolve the desirable channel characteristics. Secondly, the MIMO orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system with guard interval is investigated. The corresponding linear equalization techniques with least square (LS) and minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterions are presented. By using cyclic extended guard interval skillfully with OFDM scheme, the MIMO channel can be considered as a linear matrix problem and can be dealt with on each subcarrier. The performance of both proposed systems are analyzed analytically and computer simulations are also reported. The results show that the proposed systems work satisfactory.
