碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 園藝學研究所 === 89 === The purpose of the sculpture garden is to exhibit the sculptures on a designate site outdoor. Originally, some sculpture gardens were built with religious function. In the Hellenistic era, pleasure sculpture gardens were emerged. However, the sculpture gardens that purposes of modern fine art, will be designed by the landscape designer with correlative process, to satisfy the modern sculpture of space feeling emphasis, mass enlargement, and form variety. This study collect some literatures about sculpture garden, and review the design key points from others proposed. Then explore seven foreign sculpture gardens as case analysis, compare and induct them and induct. Moreover, provide the principles of sculpture garden design and the sculptures arrangement, for the reference of the sculpture garden planners and designers in Taiwan. Finally, the case study is in Taipei Chung-Shan Art Park. And from the current problems to suggest some solution, arranged the fictitious sculptures by correlative process.
