Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學研究所 === 89 === Traditionally, documents are delivered in paper format, which could cause many problems such as difficulties in managing documents and sharing information, error-prone in data process, etc. Electronic document management thus becomes a crucial issue. In the AEC industry, three fatal factors about information sharing are Fragmentation, Cost, and System barrier. Such problems can be improved by using advanced information technologies. By making use of the techniques of Object-Oriented, relational database (RDB), web solution, and extensible markup language (XML), a Construction Document Content Management System (CDCMS) is proposed and implemented in this research. CDCMS provides an integrated information service interface for project participants to share and exchange information. On one hand, it provides almost all the basic capabilities of a content management system. On the other hand, it supports XML as the generic document format in the system. In addition, this research proposes both an object-relational mapping approach that solves the integration problem of XML and RDB and a content access control mechanism that achieves the authority control on contents of XML documents.
