Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學研究所 === 89 === The problem of pipeline in Taiwan is getting worse and worse day by day. In order to improve it, it is essential to make a research on the current situation of pipeline digging. Apart from examining the defects of pipeline activity, this study also focuses on the elements that influence the pipeline digging. By surveying the data of 29 towns and villages in the Taipei County from 1997 to 1999, the frequency and the area of pipeline digging were analyzed. Comparing each town, this study discovered such factors as population, density, urbanization, and the time that affect the pipeline digging activity.
According to the objective reference guide, this study graded 29 towns and villages to easily analyze their differences and build up the information resources for reference. What’s more, this study further found out the relationship between the frequency and the area of pipeline digging and the elements that influence the four life-support pipelines-- electric power, telecommunications, water, and gas. Meanwhile, the present maintenance fee of pipelines is not reasonable. In order to avoid this situation, setting the charge standard for the Taipei County government is necessary. In doing so, the expenditure that subsidizes the town and village offices would not be wasted.
Since life-support pipeline plays an important role in our daily life, it is urgent to improve the present pipeline activity. Since the elements that influence the pipeline digging are quite complicated. It is almost impossible to include all of the elements in this thesis. In addition to providing the differences of pipeline digging activity in every towns and villages, this study therefore mainly examines the main influential elements in digging pipeline. This thesis would be helpful to the future study and the Taipei County government authority.
