Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學研究所 === 89 === This dissertation presents the development of structural identification procedures for building and bridge structures from their ambient and seismic response data. It consists of two parts: i) identification techniques for civil engineering structure using output signals only, and ii) time-variant model parameter identification using both input/output data. Firstly, several identification methods, particularly the modal identification methods without input information, were summarized through literature survey. These techniques include: Physical spectrum estimation, empirical mode decomposition method with Hilbert transform, Parametric time-frequency identification method, and Changing spectrum method. Secondly, modification on both the parametric-time frequency method and changing spectrum method to include the input and output signals for the identification of time variant modal parameters were developed. For modal parameter identification, it is recommended to use time domain decomposition method to detect the non-linearity and non-stationarity of the response signals.
The effectiveness of these methods was verified through both a numerical simulation and experimental study. Seismic response data of a 7-story reinforced concrete building and a base-isolation bridge were used to test the applicability of the proposed methods. It is found that either the parametric time-frequency method or the changing spectrum method can provide a good estimation of time-dependent modal parameters. These methods can also be used for damage identification of structure.
