But according to different countries and cultures, the Chinese moral development doesn’t seem to be accordance with it. This study mainly depends on Hwang, Kwang-Kuo''s “Face and Favor” modes to analysis the influential factors of utilitarian morality and obligatory morality that the adult have in Taiwan. Because of our lacking in the survey of moral judgment differences between elementary & high school teachers and other occupations, this study pays more attention to the difference and influential factors of the moral judgment. Then, comparing elementary & high school teachers and other occupations based on Kohn’s theory, this study pays more attention to the difference and influential factors of the parental values and behavior modes. We find that “Education” is the main influential factor of the criterion of moral judgment. And the main reasons of the difference among that of a person’s ascribed background are just because of the education. The more receiving years in elementary & high school or above college education, the higher the criterion of utilitarian morality judgment; however, the lower the criterion of obligatory morality judgment. Occupationally speaking, elementary & high school teachers get higher the criterion of utilitarian morality judgment, and lower the criterion of obligatory morality judgment, because they have received more years of education, and after controlling education, they are even more significant in the outcome. As to the influential factor of the parental values and behavior modes, both education and occupation play an important role. The more receiving years of both education, the less the obedience value; the more receiving years in college or above education, the higher the independent value. Although that of different occupations may differ from each other because of the education, occupation itself has a direct influence on it, especially we find that elementary & high school teachers are the ones who think highly of the independent value and look down upon the obedience value among all.
