Summary: | 碩士 === 國立海洋大學 === 機械與輪機工程學系 === 89 === In order to perform the optimum design of air-conditioners, one of the keys is to understand the influence of air supply and air exhaust systems to the flow pattern of room air flow. The main goal of this study is to realize the design and improvement in air supply system of an air-conditioner for providing the comfortable airflow. The first step is to observe and measure the flow field around the air supply system.
The practical execution of this study is to build up the ability of flow visualization and PIV measurement technologies on the air supply system including air supplier, flow channel, exhaust port and the surrounding air flow. Influence parameters investigated include tongue configuration and angle, the distance between tongue and real wall, and the rotor speed. Internal flow structure, mass flow rate, acoustic noise level and exit flow turbulence are measured under different operation conditions.
Based upon the series analysis and the correlation among measured data, a set of favorable design parameters is suggested.
