The traditional passive vibration absorber and the active bandpass vibration absorber are applied separately to suppress excessive vibrations. Finite element method is used to model the system dynamics. The Bernoulli-Euler beam theory is considered in this work. This study shows that excessive vibration of the system can be effective suppressed by applying a vibration absorber.
