However, it is hard to control vibration due to middle and low frequencies. This thesis proposes obstructing vibration propagating by using stiffened plates, which are formed by wedding stiffeners on the plates. The study is performed using numerical simulation and experiment measurement. We apply commercial finite element software NASTRAN to compute frequency response.
