However , the inboard noise is mainly the broadband noise induced by propeller tip vortex cavitation . The tip vortex index method developed by DNV is adoped and modified to predict the propeller tip vortex cavitation diameter , and the circulation at the propeller tip in the wake field is calculated by unsteady propeller lifting surface theory .
