Summary: | 碩士 === 臺南師範學院 === 資訊教育研究所 === 89 === Investigating the learning of students from the point of view of cognition is the subject that educators and psychologists are most interested in, and the test is a very important tool to understand students’ learning situation. Therefore, in recent years, it becomes the most popular topic about how to know the students’ learning situation through the tests during the teaching activities, and to realize the misconception of students from them. The cognitive process can provide information for the teaching evaluation, feedback, and remedial activities.
This study, based on the abductive reasoning, combined the traditional set covering theory and the concept of probability to develop a two-layer probabilistic causal network connection model. The core-reasoning model was developed by neural network techniques that can perform the cognitive diagnosis. We apply this reasoning model to construct a misconception diagnosis system, and then to analyze the children’s wrong concept automatically by using the computers.
Base on the World Wide Web, this diagnosis system can also diagnose the misconception of students on line, that can use to confirm the abilities of students and understand the misconception. In this way, students’ motivation is increased and their learning activities become more efficient. Teachers can take it as the basis of remedial teaching.
