Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 工業工程與工程管理學系 === 89 === The purpose of this study is to measure body surface area (BSA) using 3D scanner and to derive a BSA estimation formula for indigenous adults. The 3D scanner measures approximately 200,000 body surface points. The total error in BSA measurement due to scanning measurement error and software computational error is lees than 2%. 3951 adults were measured, and the results were used to derive a BSA estimation formula. The results seem to be comparable to previous data that are measured using traditional methods. The BSA estimation model of this study also validated using 100 new measurements along with the formulae proposed in previous researches. The result suggests that our formula fit better for our indigenous adults.
