Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 土木工程系碩士班 === 89 === The analysis of liquefaction for the potential soils is one of key elements in structure and foundation design of buildings in Kaohsiung Lin Ha industrial park, which located at the west coast of Taiwan.
The topic of this research is to perform an analysis of liquefaction for the potential soils at south and north part of the two factories of a company in Kaohsiung Lin Ha industrial park respectively. The methods of this analysis are SPT approach of JRA 1990, NJRA 1996, T &Y method (Tokimatsu and Yoshimi) 1983 and Simplified method modified by NCEER 1997. The procedure of this analysis is based on the results of numerous comparing and evaluation of horizontal earth acceleration.
After collecting and analyzing the datum of topography, geography, earthquake, hydraulics at both sites of the company, the results appear that the southern factory is more critical on liquefaction issue. And the west areas of two factories are high potential and risky of liquefaction. Following these issues of liquefaction in the study, preventive methods of engineering and academy from liquefaction are suggested to provide for reference on planning and construction stage of the sites.
