碩士 === 國立屏東師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 89 === The main purpose of the research was to investigate the relationship between the motivating factors, hygiene factors and school effectiveness. The study used questionnaire-survey method to collect data, and randomly sampled 1148 subjects from public elementary teachers in Koashuing and Pingtung area. The study sent 1148 questionnaires, returned 733 questionnaires, and 65.24% valid ones. The data were analyzed by Pearson correlation, one-way one- way MANOVA and multiple regression analysis. This study has come up with the following conclusions: 1.There are significant differences in the motivating factor, hygiene factors and school effectiveness in term of the gender. 2.There are significant differences in the motivating factors, hygiene factors and school effectiveness in term of the seniority. 3.There are significant differences in the motivating factors, hygiene factors and school effectiveness in term of the job. 4.There are significant differences in the motivating factors, hygiene factors and school effectiveness in term of the academics degree. 5.Motivating factors in background variance are higher than hygiene factors. 6.There is significant positive correlation between the motivating factors and school effectiveness. 7.There is significant positive correlation between the hygiene factors and school effectiveness. Based on the results of this research, some suggestions are given as a reference for related community.
