Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 89 === This research is aimed at investigating how elementary school teachers and parents are using the internet book, and also at presenting differences in the attitudes of teachers and parents toward the internet homebook.
A questionnaire about the condition of using the internet homebook was formulated and given out respectively to teachers and parents across the nation. Eighty-one copies of the questionnaire from the teachers group and 183 copies from the parents group were filled out and returned. The data was then analysed based on the percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square test, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance.
The results of the analysis are as follows:
a.Elementary school teachers and parents usually use the internet homebook for placing notices.
b.Both the teachers and the parents are satisfied with the internet homebook.
c.Both the teachers and the parents endorse the function of the internet homebook system.
d.Teachers are very often confused about the part of “ the effect of immediate interaction. ”
e.Those teachers who use the internet homebook of his own accord or who are able to get on the internet directly from the classroom hold a high regard to the system.
f.Those parents who use the internet homebook of his own accord hold a high regard to the system.
g.Teachers make great use of the internet homebook in the classroom, and parents use it mostly in home.
At the end of this research, I submitted some suggestions for further study. Those suggestions include: how to encourage the use of the internet homebook, how to improve the system, and how to modify the ways of communication between teachers and parents.
