Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 89 === A Case Study on the Teaching Beliefs of the Elementary School Art and Craft Teacher Abstract This research was to explore the individual teacher’s teaching beliefs in elementary school art and craft.There were three major goals in the research─to explore what the teaching beliefs an individual teacher had,to understand the relationship between his teaching beliefs and teaching behavior,and further to explore the factors which affected his teaching beliefs. By means of an qualitative research ,this research made use such methods as observation,interview, collect data, and triangulation to summarize the results.In the study,to interview individual teacher,two observers,and thirty-two third grade of students,and two observers observed individual teacher, There were several findings: 1.The individual teacher had thirteen teaching beliefs. 2.There were relationships between the teaching beliefs and teaching behavior of the individual teacher. 3.Interview was applied to this research,resulting in six factors which influenced the individual teacher’s teaching. At last,this research proposed three conclusions and four concrete suggestions.
