The latest studies of local cultural education mostly echo to the "multicultural respects", which was one of the four major goals of local education supported by the Ministry of Education. Nevertheless, most of the studies discuss the local cultural education through the educational perspective rather than through the cultural perspective. Therefore, this research is intend to focus the discussion on the multiethnic relations in the cultural context, and through the textual analysis, the researcher hopes to enter the discourse of local cultural education, and to discuss the subjectivity of homeland and ethnic groups, which are both constituted by "human beings". The researcher also hopes to discuss how the above subjectivity was represented or how it automatically interpellates the personal emotion toward the homeland. Everyone as the "Dasein" is an independent individual. In their homelands, different ethnic groups develop their own ethnic cultures, where the differences exist as objective facts, not as the result for value judgements. Value judgements between different cultures are mostly constructed by men, and there is a set of ideology within its structure. It turns out to be the collective memories, and exhibits its significance through all kinds of ways, and "gazes" the other with the mainstream value system undoubtedly. In order to escape from the negative influences of these ideologies, we can go back to the homelands, where those different cultures were born, and return the subjectivity to each different homeland. Border crossing happens all the time in this age of rapid transportation. This condition helps the dialogues and self-reflections between different ethnic groups, and the mental borders can be crossed through the ethnic literature and the children-adolescent literature. Talking about the local cultural education, this research wants to raise an alternative way of thinking, which expects that when teaching the knowledge about the local cultures, the teachers can keep some space for the students to develop their "dwelling of soul". 許學仁 2001 學位論文 ; thesis 130 zh-TW |
