The aims of this research are to discuss the relationship between the school culture and the cultural reproduction, and to interpret the implications of education affected by cultural reproduction. This research is to apply the theoretical analysis to argue the items of the cultural reproduction, such as habitus, field, and capital, and to refer to the influences of rituals in school culture, and to analyze the relationship between knowledge, ideology, and power.
The main findings are as follow:
1. The school culture is a movable structure.
2. The cultural reproduction is not predestined. There is an opportunity to be creative, and the sources of creativity are reflexivity and practice.
3. Rituals and habitus are interactive.
4. The symbolic power is the keyway to exchange and distribute the knowledge, power, and capitals.
According to the above findings, researcher rendered three implications about education as follow:
1. The cultural reproduction provides educational workers with reflexive viewpoint to rethink education.
2. Rethinking the educational system with reflexivity and to practice could be useful for educational system not being the mechanism of social classification.
3. The deconstruction of syllabus and diversification of teaching methods could be improving the creativity of cultural reproduction.
