When there is matter that needs to be contact, often on you cannot find the parents. Still more, sometime there are those irresponsible parents, who will do things against education to the students. For all these different incidents, it can be very worrisome for people who are concerned. Because of the influence of the changes within the society, it often leads to the increase of the family chain reaction problems, which including care for the seniors, education for the children, relationship within family members, juvenile delinquency etc, of all these problems, it lets parents face many challenges in the areas of family tie, and raising of the children. The problem with child abuse cases and the juvenile delinquency continue to increase, which one should rely on parental role education, and let every parent understand his or her own difficulty in responsibility, and overcome the obligation of his or her duty. Healthy and complete family will let juvenile delinquency disappear into thin air. Therefore for city of Keelung to draft the actual condition for the parental education there need to proceed with further study and probing. The main purpose of our research is to probe the attitude and need of students’ parents for parental role education, to rely on understand city of Keelung’s public national junior high s and primary school the feeling of students’ parents toward the actual execution of parental role education and the direction to strive for in the future, in order to bring out more concrete improvement and suggestion. In order to achieve the goal describe from above, our research uses documentary analysis, questionnaire inquiry, and interview method to proceed with the research. First of all, we use documentary analysis to understand the meaning of parental education, goal and its importance, and the content of its execution, its way and program. Secondly, to use Keelung’s public national junior high and primary schools’ co-workers and students’ parents as the object of the research distribute questionnaire, also to use interview to compensate the inadequate of the questionnaire. The information from the questionnaire will use percentage, frequency distribution, χ2 -test, t-test, one-way ANOVA. To go through with statistic analysis, to achieve the following result: 1.School and parents both value the importance of executing the parental education; also affirm the function of the parental education. 2.The parents’ participation in the parental education were not eager enough, especially in the sex role, most participants were mothers. 3.The reasons for the parents who were not able to participate in the parental education activities were many, but the most main reason was busy at work. 4.Different background of the school’s personnel and parents create discrepancy in their understanding for parental education. 5.The content of the parental education provided by the school cannot satisfy the needs of the parents. 6.The method of the parental education used by school lacks in abundance and variety. 7.The parental education executes by the school faces many problems. 8.To improve the parental education executes by the school needs to be proceed and handle from different situations.
