The Study of the Students’ Internet Use and Their Sexual Attitude and Behavior in Chiayi University

碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 家庭教育研究所 === 89 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the individual background variables(gender, faculties, parents'' marital situation), the conditions of the internet use(years of contacting with the network, time of getting on the line, frequency of contacting with the network sexual information, the initiative tendency of contacting with network sexual information, the average hours of daily contacting with the network sexual information, the frequency of contacting with the network pornography, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network pornography, the average hours of daily contacting with the network pornography) toward the variety of college students’ sexual attitudes and behaviors. The study was to apply the questionnaire survey. Subjects were the students of Chiayi university. Subjects were 548 persons in total. The questionnaire composed of three tests which “the Questionnaire of University Students Internet Use”, “Sexual Attitude Scale”, and “Sexual Behavior Scale” was conducted in this study. The collected data were then processing the statistics analysis via descriptive statistics, Cronbach α, t-test, and One-way ANOVA. The findings of this study were as follows: 1.The university students'' "sexual attitude" was clearly distinct due to gender, but not dependent on various faculties and their parents'' marital situation. 2. The university students''" sexual behavior" was clearly distinct due to gender, but not dependent on different faculties and their parents'' marital situation. 3. The university students'' "sexual attitude" was clearly distinct due to the average hours of daily contacting with the network pornography, but not dependent on the years of contacting with the network, time of getting on the line, frequency of contacting with the network sexual information, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network sexual information, the average hours of daily contacting with the network sexual information, the frequency of contacting with the network pornography, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network pornography. 4. The university students'' "sexual constraint" was clearly distinct due to the frequency of contacting with the network sexual information, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network sexual information, the average hours of daily contacting with the network sexual information, frequency of contacting with the network pornography, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network pornography, the average hours of daily contacting with the network pornography, but not dependent on years of contacting with the network, time of getting on the line. 5.The university students'' "sex role" was clearly distinct due to frequency of contacting with the network sexual information, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network sexual information, the average hours of daily contacting with the network sexual information, frequency of contacting with the network pornography, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network pornography, the average hours of daily contacting with the network pornography, but not dependent on years of contacting with the network, time of getting on the line. 6. The university students'' "sexual moral" was clearly distinct due to frequency of contacting with the network sexual information, initiative of contacting with the network sexual information, the average hours of daily contacting with the network sexual information, frequency of contacting with the network pornography, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network pornography, the average hours of daily contacting with the network pornography, but not dependent on years of contacting with the network, time of getting on the line. 7. The university students'' "Know me, know you" was clearly distinct due to the average hours of daily contacting with the network pornography, but not dependent on years of contacting with the network, time of getting on the line, frequency of contacting with the network sexual information, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network sexual information, the average hours of daily contacting with the network sexual information, frequency of contacting with the network pornography, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network pornography. 8. The university students'' "sex, love and marriage" was not dependent on years of contacting with the network, time of getting on the line, frequency of contacting with the network sexual information, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network sexual information, the average hours of daily contacting with the network sexual information, frequency of contacting with the network pornography, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network pornography, the average hours of daily contacting with the network pornography. 9. The university students'' "sexual behavior" was clearly distinct due to the time of getting on the line, frequency of contacting with the network sexual information, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network sexual information, frequency of contacting with the network pornography, but not dependent on time of getting on the line, the average hours of daily contacting with the network sexual information, the initiative tendency of contacting with the network pornography, the average, hours of daily contacting with the network pornography.
