The objects are the teachers who occupied in the special education class in vocational high schools in Taiwan, Pen-Whu and King-Men in year 2000. The proportional allocation method is used to pick 460 teachers to fill the questionnaire. The tool of the research is the questionnaire of the job stress among teachers of the special education class in vocational high schools. The numbers of effective questionnaire is 359 and selected six of them to interview. The data of the questionnaire were concluded with constant comparison with t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe methods. The results of this research are: 1.The status of the job stress among teachers of the special education class in vocational high schools is medium level in most cases. 2.The larger stress of job concentrates on the professional duty of special education, transition and the problems of students. 3.The job stress among teachers of the special education class in vocational high school can be divided in five levels as sorts as professional duty, problems of parents, problems of students, advanced studying and task overload. 4.The teachers who teach the special education class in vocational high school with different gender, year of teaching experiences, qualification and professional background have different job press levels in advanced studying. 5.The teachers who teach the special education class in vocational high school with different age have different job press levels in the problems of parents and advanced studying. 6.The teachers who teach the special education class in vocational high school with different occupation have different job press levels in total and the four job stress levels: task overload, professional duty, problems of students and problems of parents. 7.The teachers who teach the special education class in vocational high school with different teaching hours have different job press levels in total and the two job stress level: problems of students and problems of parents. 8.While the teachers of the special education class in vocational high school facing larger job press items, they deal them with the Emotion-Focused coping skills and Problem-Directed coping skills.
