This project was to develop an Automatic Machine Process Imitation System (AMPIS) by using VR technology and the automatic process simulation system. This AMPIS was aimed to be a helpful tool in machine processing study, for the senior vocational school students.
This system used VrmlPad-VRML2.0 program editor as well as 3D Studio Max software to construct a dynamic simulation workstation. The interactive network homepage was set-up by using HTML technology and JavaScript language. These established a multi-user interface, that students may use this AMPIS system via network at the same time.
