Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 89 === In order to increase the output value of IC foundry industry, the following things are necessary without exception, including improving the quality, reducing the cost, changing in the services, establishing the marketing channel, quick responding to the customer need information and keeping improving of the business. As the times of E-Commerce coming, IC foundry industry is also influenced by the new impact. Consequently, to set up a standard of data exchange for IC industry is an important topic for study. In the past, the commerce data exchanged are through the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technology. However, EDI has some shortcomings. These days, XML had been presented to the public. The form of data used in the past can be represented afresh by XML. Besides, XML allows users to set the tags at user''s own will. The study is aimed at building information service system for the IC design house and the IC foundry by utilizing UML. The exchanged information includes the order tasks, the production tasks and the financial reports. The Rational Rose is used to construct the information service model. An XML-based order system is implemented, so that the IC design house can use ASP to extract data from the “Order Database”, and then save it as an XML file. After getting the XML file, the personnel of the IC design house can upload it via Internet to “Purchase Order Database”, which is owned by the IC foundry. In this way, the purchase procedures will become simple, speedy and correct.
