Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育學院 === 體育研究所 === 89 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of participants’ demand and satisfaction for the Host’s tourist service in 2001 National Intercollegiate Sporting Event. The sample consisted of 351participants in 2001 National Collegiate Sporting Event. The instruments administered to the subjects were Inventory of Tourist Service Demand for the Sporting Event and Inventory of Tourist Service Satisfaction for the Sporting Event. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, independent sample one-way ANOVA, and one-way MANOVA. The major findings were as follows:
1.Differences of participants’ tourist service demand among background variables
(1)There was significant difference of opening ceremony activity service in gender, but there were no significant differences of routine service, extension service, and information service.
(2)There were significant differences of routine service, opening ceremony activity service, extension service, and information service among participants with different monthly salary.
(3)There were significant differences of extension service and information service among participants with different education degree, but there were no significant differences of routine service and opening ceremony activity service.
2.Differences of participants’ tourist service satisfaction among background variables
(1)There were significant differences of routine service and extension service in gender, but there were no significant differences of opening ceremony activity service and information service.
(2)There were significant differences of routine service and information service among participants with different monthly salary, but there were no significant differences of opening ceremony activity service and extension service.
(3)There were no significant differences of routine service, opening ceremony activity service, extension service and information service among participants with different education degree.
3.Differences of tourist service demand among participants and spectators
(1)There were significant differences of routine service, opening ceremony activity service, extension service and information service among different kinds of participants.
(2)There were significant differences of routine service, extension service and information service among different kinds of spectators, but there was no significant difference of opening ceremony activity service.
4.Differences of tourist service satisfaction among participants and spectators
(1)There were significant differences of routine service, extension service and information service among different kinds of participants, but there was no significant difference of opening ceremony activity service.
(2)There was significant difference of opening ceremony activity service among different kinds of spectators, but there were no significant differences of routine service, extension service and information service.
