Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育學院 === 教練研究所 === 89 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of moderate-intensity aerobic dance training on body composition, blood parameters &oxidative stress. Twenty-nine healthy females (age=37.4±9.8yrs, ht=158.6±4.7cm, wt=55.1±5.7kg), were divided into three groups by ages: A group (≦30), B group (31~45), C group (46~60). Subjects attended the aerobic dance training at 70-80﹪HRmax for 1 hour per day, 2 days per week for 8 consecutive weeks.
The concentrations of biochemical parameters and body composition were measured pre-training, training for 4 and 8 weeks. The results of the study were shown as follows:
1. Compisition: The weight, total fat, lean body mass, body fat percentage and body mass index at 4 and 8 weeks for C group were significantly higher than B group (p<0.05).
2. Blood parameters: Differences between pre-training and after training in total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein
cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglyceride, uric acid, hemoglobin, hematocrit, aspartate amino transferase, alanine amino transferase, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine for the three groups did not reach statistical significance.
3. Antioxidant status: Differences between pre-training and after training in superoxide dismutase(SOD), glutathione(GSH), malondialdehyde(MDA) and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS) for A group did not reach statistical significance(p<0.05). The SOD and GSH level at training for 8 weeks for B and C group were significatly higher than pre-training. MDA and TBARS levels at training for 8 weeks for B and C group were significatly higher than pre-training.
