Primal data gathering and management of educational indicators that is of immediacy, share, and convenience is established through website’s direct connection with subjects of study. Besides supplying practical data gathering and management, educational indicators network database provides relative researchers with primal data, to carry out numerical analysis that is necessary, then to offer research results for educational decision-making unit and other relative persons as reference and to assist the development of education decision. This study takes junior high schools and primary schools in Taoyuan County as subjects of study, the main task covers: (1) gathering and analyzing domestic and foreign literature review of educational indicators, (2) designing and establishing network database of educational indicators, (3) assembling subjects of study to proceed the gathering and management of educational indicators’ data, (4) transferring and analyzing data of interactive network database to present the result. As for the design of website, the study applies Microsoft Internet Information Server with ASP (Active Server Page) supported under Windows NT to develop WEB. Through electric document system of Taoyuan County, the study authorizes manager of database that is in charge of keying in data to have a password, fills data in each column item by item according to the regulations, and then immediately transfers data into database after key in is finished. At last, data becomes a registered record in database. The conclusion of study can be inducted as follows: 1.Establish the procedure of educational indicators’ collection, to develop computer assisted survey model of educational indicators. 2.Integrate network database with relative educational administrative unit, to simplify the research procedure of educational indicators. 3.Combine network with computer technology, to achieve the benefit of convenience and of immediacy. 4.Pay attention to the area difference of primary and lower secondary school development in Taoyuan County. 1.Suggestions for the educational administrative unit: (1)Develop the long term research plan of whole nation’s educational indicators, set up the research team of nation educational indicators, and establish the system of database of each level. (2)Carry out ”school base management’s ” demand for accountability and responsibility, and develop educational indicator system that takes a county as an unit, and publish them regularly in relative educational statistics, educational development journals, and etc. (3)Set up educational indicators data gathering center, and complete the system of hand in data, and positively combine relative indicators study institutions to assist planning and implementing local educational indicators system. 2.Suggestions for Schools: (1)Establish school quality indicators to know quality of school education, which can be integrative analysis of school development. (2)Appoint the staff in chare of gathering and sorting educational indicators data, to regularly hand in indicators data of schools of each level. (3)Schools enhance network facilities’ installment and maintenance; teachers strengthen the knowledge of computer and of information network. (4)Propagate the basic concept of educational indicators, to let students, parents, teachers, and the public know the educational indicators.
