Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 89 === Since flash memory has some attractive features, such as low power consumption, non-volatility, shock resistance, high data density, therefore, it is good for mobile devices. Furthermore, with advanced semi-conductor manufacture technology, flash memory is becoming larger and faster, so it is promising to replace Hard disk drives in most applications. However, flash memory comes with some hardware restrictions, such as requiring erasure before it can be rewritten and can be erased only a limited number of times.So a new storage management schema is needed for maintaining the flash memory. In this thesis, we design a new storage management system to solve the non-rewritable problem and reduce the number of erase times for power saving and ensure longer flash memory lifetime
