Utilizing the PS2000 excimer laser machine and masks, the new type micro end effector is fabricated by mask projection. After this step, a CCD camera system is employed to measure the size of the micro end effector. The input-output function of the micro end effector is tested and the processing and modeling errors are discussed. Finally, a micro operation system is designed and fabricated. It utilized a DSP1102 card combined MATLAB and CCD camera system to test the holding force and micro assembly of object for the micro operation system.
