| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系 === 89 === An information community is referred to “an information-oriented residential community.” It starts from the need of community lives and combines the characteristics of “decentralization”, “sharing” and “linkage”, which are created by information infrastructures in order to improve communication among community residents and related services and functions. Nowadays in Taiwan, there are so-called “networked” or “broadband networked” residential communities which have been enhanced some information contents, while the most still rest on the ideas derived from the hardware. However, the meaning and content of information communities are more than supply of information hardware. In order to maintain sustainable community development, we need to understand the background and historical development of information communities, and cope with them in physical planning. In addition, suppliers or relative decision-makers need to know the questions such as: How to judge the supply orientation of information community? What are the key issues in supply and physical planning? What is the content of information supply?
This research starts from the planning of information communities and ideas of supply aspect, and advance discussion about physical planning in allusion to the development of information community. Therefore, the aim of this research includes: (1) to study the concept, characteristics and essential contents of information communities, (2) to study the development of information communities and the current development in Taiwan, (3) to study the model and content of decision-making of information community, and (4) to simulate and analyze the future development of information community.
The research first conducts literature reviews and study the contents of information and community to define the concept and characteristics of information community, and study the content and development of information community, and that development background of nowadays in Taiwan. Secondly, it analyzes the development of information communities both in home and abroad by case studies, discusses the development of information communities, where with comparing and concluding the development and supply task of information community in Taiwan. Then analyze the decision-making model of information communities wherewith the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model, study the application of AHP in decision-making of information community. And study the adjustability of analyzed result and the decision-making model. Finally, the ITRI community case was carefully studied as an example to analyze the basic conditions and development of information community and advancing orientation thought of case, further simulate the content of information supply, wherewith analyzing and concluding, to discuss the future development of relative conditions.
The conclusions of this research are as follows: (1) Information communities are that information virtually combines with physical communities. Both the hardware and software requirements of information content need to be fulfilled to meet the needs of daily community life. (2) The development of information communities consists of the supply, the demand, and the complementary sides. The current development of information communities in Taiwan is limited by all aspects of development conditions, such as the orientation elements or parallel orientation elements of information community and information content as direction of supplies. The importance of the orientation, decision-making and information supply is highlighted in the aspects of tasks in strategy planning. (3) The decision-making of information communities has those characteristics, which are formed by stratum and multiple-factor, we should consider the development of information maintain on establishing frame and construction; At the time of taking information supply contain as direction, the condition stratum of software and hardware can be reduced to decision-making items and corresponding substituted plans as community scale, physical planning and economic cost, etc. (4) The software condition is the main factor that affects the information content, while information appliances (IA) in hardware conditions are with development potentials in residential community supply. To bear the supporting conditions with software and hardware conditions, we should flexibly cope with the planning of infrastructure and the feasibility analysis of management system.
