Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 物理學系 === 89 === This thesis presents an optical analysis of the CCD imager which used for surveying the “Red Sprites” by a Taiwan’s satellite, ROCSAT-2, (the ISUAL project). The basic design concept of double Gauss lens and the history of anastigamat are included. We analyze the imager lens system by optical design software, OSLO SIX Rev. 5.40 and evaluate the performance in term of “spot diagram”, “encircled energy”, “MTF output at Nyquist frequency”, and so on. The main goal is to check out if the imager optical output performance are suitable for the pixel size of imager intensifier.
