Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 水利及海洋工程學系 === 89 === Wave pressure on and within porous structure are studied relating to the structure thickness, porosity and friction coefficient. It is found that similar to the reflection coefficient, the wave pressure on the structure’s front surface increases with increasing structure thickness. Pressures on either the structure’s front surface or interfaces within a multi-slice structure increase with increasing porosity of the outer-layer material; while the wave pressure on the structure’s rear surface decreases with increasing structure thickness but increases with increasing porosity, a trend similar to the transmission coefficient. The actual force pushing the outer-layer material away from the structure is related to the thickness of the outer-layer of the structure. Several tests are conducted to measure pressures within the porous structure. Theoretical results are compared with the experimental data. It was shown that both agree fairly well with each other.
