The miscibility window of PCL/PBzMA/SAN ternary blends was found by changing the weight percent of the acrylonitrile(AN)unit in the SAN copolymers. POM showed that PCL/PBzMA/SAN-9 ternary blends were phase separation for a few composition. Hence, it demostrated that PCL/PBzMA/SAN-9 ternary blends were partial miscibity. DSC showed only one glass transition temperature (Tg) for PCL/PBzMA/SAN-17 and PCL/PBzMA/SAN-25 ternary blends. POM and SEM exhibited that PCL/PBzMA/SAN-17 and PCL/PBzMA/SAN-25 were homogeneous for any composition in tarnary phase diagram. Hence, it demonstrated that miscibility existed for PCL/PBzMA/SAN-17 and PCL/PBzMA/SAN-25 ternary blends. Lower critical solution temperature (LCST) behavior was found to occur in PCL/PBzMA/SAN-9, PCL/PBzMA/SAN-17 and PCL/PBzMA/SAN-25 ternary blends when these blends heated to elevated temperatures. The melting point depression theory showed that the interaction of PCL/PBzMA/SAN-17 was larger than PCL/PBzMA/SAN-25. Phase boundary of PCL/PBzMA/SAN ternary blends was investigated by Flory-Huggins theory with six temperature-dependent and independent segmental interaction parameters. Ring-banded spherulities were observed in the PCL/PBzMA/SAN ternary blends. The width of ring band changes with blend ratio and crystallization temperature. E. M.
