Since a network organization makes use of knowledge workers and information technology to share the resources. Within organizations employing the ideal of network organization to efficiently combine the dispersed agricultural training agencies is meaningful. This study is to know the situations and problems of present agricultural training agencies, and discuss the advantages and defects of applying network organization to agricultural training agencies as well. A total of six staffs of National Training Institute For Farmers’ Organizations and Taiwan sugar Corporation Training Center were interviewed in-depth in this study. The advantages of using network organization in National Training Institute For Farmers’ Organizations are primarily to expand the communication chanels and increase the funds for operation. It also improves the staffs to become better knowledge workers and promotes the qualities of manpower in general. The defects are the unfair distribution of human captial, and the clients are limited to be either farmers or fishermen. In contrast, the advantages of apllying network organization in Taiwan sugar Corporation Training Center are not only to establish have the complete databank and computer equipments, but also to grasp market trends and requirements. Nevertheless, the original lacking of knowledge workers and dispirited staffs will affect the development of network organization. To sum up, it is difficult to set up the network organization between present National Training Institute For Farmers’ Organizations and Taiwan sugar Corporation Training Center at present. But since they own sufficient resources of communications and knowledge workers respectively, dynamic network organizations could be established. According to that, we can screw up the discipline of internal network, and construct the outer network in proper sequence to improve.
