It was found to be a lanostanoid analog. The structure of M8-4-1 as indicated below, was established by NMR spectroscopy (1H-NMR, COSY, HSQC, HMBC, 13C-NMR), melting point, and chemical methods. The cytotoxic activity assay of M-8-4-1 of Ganoderma amboinense was evaluated against Huh 7 cell line. Therefore, the compound M8-4-1 is cancer cytotoxic potential.
