Summary:碩士 === 國立政治大學 === 心理學系 === 89 === From the observation of 563 2ed to 4th graders’ performance on the three kind of compare problem, this study was to explore children’s development of comprehending “match”, “equalize to compared”, and “equalize to referent”. The result indicated that children didn’t have the general manner of comprehension yet. With their manner of comprehension, they could only handle certain problem situations but couldn’t handle relation between quantities in all the compare situations. Meanwhile, they were lack of ability to understand the same compare problem from different aspects of view. It maybe caused by that children couldn’t capable handle the relation between quantities with part-part-whole schemes. So it lacked flexibity of reverse between manners of comprehension.
