Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 89 === Following the wide application of information technology and radical changes in the business environment, quick response and internal staff communication became very important in the organization. In this research we try to build a conceptual framework to describe the relationship between empowerment and information sharing in order to provide some suggestions to business administration. The research method primarily relies on a systems concept, with a supporting case illustration. After reasoning from literature reviewed, we build an information-sharing model, and then add in the interaction of empowerment, and finally integrate these components to form a conceptual framework and propose three specific research propositions. The conclusions drawn from the research are that an organization provides accurate information through sharing and uses empowerment shorten the decision-making process. These interactions enable organizations to increase and quicken response ability to meet the needs of customers and the market.
