Strategic alliance can integrate partners’ resource, ability and have strategic flexibility. The sample firms of this study are the SMEs in Taiwan, which have the experience of strategic alliance. This research divides all sample firms into subgroups of alliances in the same / different industry and horizontal / vertical alliance. By applying LISREL model, 114 firms are empirically analyzed. Findings of this research indicate that (1)tacitness of knowledge/technology is positively associated with communication between partners;(2)communication between partners and symmetry of scale are positively associated with trust toward partner;(3)trust toward partner is positively associated with performance of knowledge / technology transfer. Trust toward partner is the key-point in the strategic alliance, it has significant influence on the performance of knowledge / technology transfer. Wen-Ruey Lee 李文瑞 2001 學位論文 ; thesis 62 zh-TW
