Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 89 === The current study is to investigate the gender role, emotional intelligence and leadership style on flexibility performance of fire department in Taiwan. Survey data from random sample of 220 fire fighters of 6 fire departments were collected and also used assess the gender and emotional intelligence differences between fire fighters in terms of flexibility. Survey questionnaire was mailed and SAS windows package was used to analyze data. The results show that the relation about leadership style to gender role and emotional intelligence is significant and to flexibility performance is the most significant. The results also indicate that the different service area of fire fighters is more significant than their posts.
