However, manufacturing success cannot be assured on the production floor alone, it must start in the product design stage for manufacturing to meet its new designed goals so they can be manufactured efficiently Producing manufacturable designs require that manufacturing and product design work together to achieve goals. And also early manufacturing involved to design is neccessary the product designer is formulating ideas in his head, with the aid of the manufacturing engineer is nearby ready to discuss them. As the designer begins to sketch the new product on paper the manufacturing engineer can assist critique and suggest alternatives It is too late to tell the design team that product is not manufacturable when the team is ready to release a prototype product to manufacturing.
