Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 89 === The purpose of this study is to understand Hi-Tech employees’ leisure behavior situation, and to discuss the relationship among leisure behavior,job stress and job performance, It aimed at the electron, semiconductor, information and communications industries in the Common Wealth Magazine 1000, we sent out 2,000 questionnaires and got 427 ones back., the questionnaires of each firm is the percentage of company staff in the industry. The questionnaire is divided into four parts: Leisure Behavior Questionnaire, Job Stress Scale, Job Performance Scale, and Personal Survey. We gathered the data and adopted various statistic methods including: t-test, one-way ANOVA, Chi-Square Test, Pearson correlation analysis, Spearman’s population Rank Correlation, and stepwise multiple regression.
The results reveal that:
1.The mean of job stress is higher than average. And gender, age, level of education, job department, job position, child number, job place and traffic time make job stress difference.
2.Hi-Tech employees’ gender, age, level of education, marriage, child number, job place, traffic time and wage make Leisure Behavior difference.
3.The mean of job performance is higher than average. age, job department, job position, marriage, child number, job place, traffic time and wage make job performance difference.
4.Behavior difference and job performance indicated significant correlation. The intercorrelation of knowledge, social activity and job performance indicated positive significant correlation.
5. Job stress and job performance indicated significant negative correlation, job stress is able to predict job performance, the appropriate job stress will increase job performance.
From the outcome, Hi-Tech company should be aimed at employees’ demand to build leisure facilities, to establish good leisure machinery, and open the courses of stress management. Hi-Tech employee should change job stress to motivation factor, and make job stress to improve job performance.
