Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 電子工程學系 === 89 === In this paper we introduce a measurement system, which can display the central body position and measure the small activity of the animal in animal box. The feature of this system is that we use PCB to make the sensors electrode pairs. It is very easy to maintain, the circuit is simple, cheap, and is easy to be mass-product. We will discuss the effects of using oscillator type and capacitances bridge type measurement method in this system. In oscillatory type, we use unstable multi-vibrator IC 555 and differential oscillator from by three stages not gate to from a CR type oscillator. Base on the principle that the frequency of an oscillator will change with the change of its capacitance, we can decide the animal center position and the level of small activity by detecting frequency variation of the electrodes. A CPLD device is adopted here for frequency counter circuit. This can reduce the number of electronic element to be used and simplify the circuit. The LabVIEW software is used for signal and computation.
