Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 89 === Internet provides a novel learning environment for teachers to deal with various tutorial materials for students. A mobile agent can play the role of a student or teacher. It can carry on activities such as discussions, demonstrations, co-operated learning, Q&A ...etc. in an autonomous and interactive way. However, the mobile agents must have appropriate coordination functions to make the learning process go smoothly due to the uncertainty of network quality and the mobility of themselves. This work presents a coordination model of mobile agents for e-Learning. This model is based on the Linda-like coordination model with the extensions of Tuple-Actions library and an event handler of tuple values and operators of the TupleSpace. This coordination model is more flexible and active than previous models for a mobile agent system. Various examples of coordination models of mobile agents are illustrated. For the experiments, we design a questionnaire and count the number of posed articles for BBS to understand the interaction and problems of Q&A for e-Learning and verify the advantages of our model. A prototype of the Q&A system for e-Learning is also implemented.
