Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 紡織工程學系 === 89 === The polymers of Modified starch and poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) were polyblended in various proportions. The blended proportions of PVA and modified starch were 90/10~50/50(wt/wt). The polymer blend were respectively put into a wet spinning machine at 90℃. The blended fiber is passed through the processes of water washing and dried, and then we got porous PVA fiber by the process of formalization treatment and solution out the modified starch.
The structure, morphology, physical properties, and application of PVA/Modified starch blended and porous PVA fiber has been reported. Various techniques such as coaxial cylinder viscometer, SEM, Instron tester, TGA, DSC, X-ray diffraction, FTIR, Spectrocolourimeter have been used. The result of viscosity showed that the viscosity was decreased with the modified starch increasing. SEM studied reveled that the cross-section of fiber was became flat with the modified starch increasing, and then after solving out the modified starch, the holes became more. The tenacity show that the increased of modified starch will decrease the tenacity. The TGA curve showed the increased modified starch the polyblended fiber had better thermal properties. DSC studied reveled PVA and modified starch blended had two peaks. Thus, the PVA/Modified starch blended fiber was not a microhomogeneous system. From WAXD data, the increased of modified starch will disturbed the PVA crystallity. FTIR studied reveled that PVA/Modified starch blended fiber had not happened chemical reaction. Dissolved ratio showed that 50/50(wt/wt) was highest. K/S value showed the 70/30(wt/wt) was highest.
