How to stay original economics of scale, cost, quality to go a step further to pursue speed, sensitivity and quickly response customer fashion demand. The application of postponement strategy is one of the most important topics. This thesis constructed apparel dyeing traditional and postponement cost models with the principle of postponement, then using related parameters data to simulate various situations. The results show that the postponement cost model is better than the traditional cost model, when the key parameters such as total demand quantity, color number, holding cost rate, demand standard deviation, lead time, and customer service level are larger, especially in color number. And when total demand quantity is larger than 33075, color number is larger than 4, holding cost rate is larger than 0.13511, the postponement strategy is feasible. We expect this thesis could provide exercise of strategy and feasible judgment of dyeing postponement for textile and apparel industries.
