Of 33 public junior high schools in the middle part of Taiwan, the teachers were tested through questionnaire survey. Collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-factor analysis of variance, T-test, structure equation model, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. First, the result indicates that the “Intergenerational-Mobility” of teachers of junior high schools tends to move upwards. Second, there is a significant difference in “Intergenerational-Mobility” due to different incomes and duties. Third, gender, age, marriage, and teaching experience do not affect “Intergenerational-Mobility” very much. Fourth, those tested teachers all hold positive attitudes to leisure activities. Fifth, teachers of different ages and of different “Intergenerational-Mobility”, hold different beliefs in leisure activities. Sixth, teachers of different ages, keep various feelings about leisure activities. Seventh, teachers of different sexes show significant differences in the choice of leisure activities. Eighth, age, income, and duties do not widely affect the attitude to leisure activities. Ninth, different sexes, marriage, monthly income, the age of the youngest child, teaching experience and duties greatly dominate the frequency of leisure participation. Tenth, teachers from different “Intergenerational-Mobility” do not show prominent differences in the frequency of leisure participation. Eleventh, on leisure participation, the choice of different types of leisure activities, personal emotions and beliefs do not significantly affect teachers from different “Intergenerational-Mobility”. Finally, the whole attitude toward leisure activities, age, income, and teachers of the executive are the most powerful factors of the whole participation of leisure activities. By the way, the study also gives the following suggestions. First, since teachers of junior high hold positive attitudes to leisure activities, the effect of leisure participation on teachers must be promising if they can take part in them more actively and spontaneously. Second, most teachers prefer indoor, individual or static activities, such as reading, listening to music or radio, watching TV, and so on. Therefore, they are suggested to participate in different types of leisure activities to enrich their lives and broaden their minds. Third, sex, age, and the age of the youngest child should be taken into consideration, when schools hold leisure activities for teachers. Besides, teachers should be encouraged to participate in outdoor activities. Fourth, the government of each city or county should also sponsor the leisure activities of teachers, and increase the touring subsidy. In this way, the interest in leisure activities must be inspired a lot. Fifth, the authentic institutes that develop qualified teachers should also arrange suitable courses to help teachers of junior high form the habit of participating leisure activities. Sixth, since teachers of junior high have more leisure time during summer and winter vacation, it is necessary that enterprises of tourism should offer proper leisure activities or touring courses for teachers to enjoy the life of real leisure.
