Among all of the HRM activities influenced by the Internet technology, online recruiting methods, which is also called “Internet Recruiting,” have become extremely popular in the past several years. Corporate recruiters and job seekers are turning more and more attentions to the Internet for finding job opportunities and qualified applicants. Although using the Internet to post or find jobs are expected to be one of the major vehicles for corporate recruiting in the future, research on Internet recruiting has been rare. Based on the Technology Acceptance Model, the purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting job seekers'' intention to use internet recruiting, such as perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived security. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Job seekers'' perception on easy of use for Internet recruiting is not significantly related to their intentions to use. 2. Job seekers'' perceptions on usefulness and security for Internet recruiting have significantly positive impacts on their intentions to use. 3. Job seekers'' perception on easy of use regarding time, space, and entertainment for Internet recruiting has significantly positive impacts on their intentions to use. 4. Job seekers'' perception on easy of use for Internet recruiting has a significantly positive impact on the perception of usefulness. Chang-jung Lin, Ph.D. 林昌榮 2001 學位論文 ; thesis 90 zh-TW |
