The combining methods use the information in the previously received packets to increase the probability of correct decoding for the latest packet. Simulation results indicate that turbo codes have better throughput performance than convolutional codes in DS/SSMA systems and the proposed packet-combining methods improve the performance of turbo coded DS/SSMA systems.
