I 歐陽毅 碩士 中原大學 土木工程研究所 89 ABSTRACT According to the tentative guideline for performance-based seismic design in Blue Book provided by SEAOC, the designer is required to check the story drift ratio in order to assure the behavior of the building remaining in the desired levels of seismic performance corresponding to different specified levels of earthquake. This thesis used the improved capacity spectrum method to estimate the average drift index(ADI), the maximum story drift index((SDI)max), and furthermore concluded the ratio of (SDI)max to ADI, the value of COD. Based on the results, COD increases with the period of structure and the values of COD for low rise buildings and high rise buildings are approximately equal to 1.3 and 1.7 respectively. Moreover this study discussed the effects of lateral load patterns and the representations of idealized bilinear models of capacity curve during the procedure of improved capacity spectrum method analysis. The results are compared to that of Drain-2D+ using time history analysis. Bing-Chang,Lin Cheng-Po,Chang 林炳昌 張正博 2001 學位論文 ; thesis 165 zh-TW
