Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 建築與都市計畫學系碩士班 === 89 === Any kind of the architectural space may be influenced by the exterior factors. However illegal structures can exist any where in Taiwan, and are increasing in number. This type of illegal structure has become a normal part of Taiwan''s culture. These illegal structures in Taiwan may have a positive or negative influence. Making design more complicated and extensive. An illegal structure can not be identified easily by visual inspection. This paper will address the problem of illegal structures currently in Taiwan, classify the type of building and construction materials used, and analyses the use of space in structure design. By this method we are able to better identify illegal structures which will help us understand our use of the environment, and how we can influence society and the economy in Taiwan. In fact, when viewed by the above criteria, we find that the problem of illegal structures is not as serious as first thought. These structuresm although officially illegal, do not have a negative impact on individuals or the environments. Actually the illegal structures alleviate the problem of inadequate space for housing in Taiwan. Even the regulations for building are changing and rules for illegal structures are not being enforced consistently. This type of building is labeled illegal according to government regulations, but the government still allows them to be built and occupied, so they should just legalize them. The purpose for this paper is to reevaluate the traditional opinion of illegal structures as "the cancer of the city", and to see them as positive and useful in the modern city.
